"Prime" is a quality grade assigned by the USDA to describe the highest quality beef in terms of its tenderness, juiciness and flavour. This grade is assigned based on a combination of marbling and maturity. The higher the ratio of marbling and the younger the beef, the higher the grade. 

Beef is the culinary name for meat from cattle and is a great source for proteins and nutrients, usually eaten as steaks or roasts. It is also commonly minced or ground as patties for burgers.
